Future Steps of Development

We expect to enhance our product to deal with not just bottles, but all types of recyclable components and all sorts of trash.

We plan to have the AutoCycle be placed in many public places such as parks, libraries, beaches, schools, etc. 

Eventually, consumers will even place the AutoCycle in their own homes.

We expect to make modifications to the AutoCycle such as expanding the opening so bigger recyclables and other bigger pieces of trash can be sorted.

We can also make different-sized bins for different locations. In a more public area, we could make a bigger sized bin for more storage.

We also plan to put a paper shredder at the bottom of the garbage bin in case someone puts the paper in because paper is recyclable. 

We also plan to put a weight sensor at the top of our garbage can to open the lid so the user does not need to open and close the lid of the garbage can themselves. 

We plan to incorporate a solar panel onto the garbage can instead of a battery, since batteries drain quickly and solar panels will never run out of power. 

Lastly, we want to incorporate a weight sensor in our design so that when the sensor detects weight, the circuit starts. This allows for the garbage can to not be running the whole time.
